Taylor Mims is an experienced editor and writer with a strong background in music, entertainment, and communications. Mims currently serves as the Editor of Special Features and Power Lists, as well as a Staff Writer for Touring and Live Entertainment at Billboard since May 2018. Prior roles include News Editor at Amplify Media Inc from June 2016 to May 2019, and Music/Entertainment Editor at Lipstickparty Magazine. Additionally, Mims worked as a Communications Specialist at the Freedom Writers Foundation, overseeing content development, marketing strategies, and the foundation's digital presence from June 2010 to June 2016. Mims also gained editorial experience as a Non-Fiction Editor for RipRap Literary Journal. Mims holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach.
