Soma Sundar Gollakota is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and management sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of Bigyellowfish since January 2019, Soma has demonstrated leadership and innovation. Prior to this role, Soma served as a Quality and Safety Coach at SeaTeam Management Pte. Ltd. from June 2011 to January 2019, focusing on organizational behavior, risk management, and compliance. Previous positions include Master Mariner at Maersk Tankers from January 2004 to May 2011 and Navigation Officer at Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) between September 1994 and December 2004. Soma holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
