Sven Thate is a seasoned professional in the fields of management and investment, currently serving as the Managing Director at BigRep GmbH, which specializes in large-scale 3D printers. Previously, Sven held the position of Investment Manager at BASF Venture Capital GmbH, and within BASF, Sven progressed from R&D Project Manager to Senior Manager of Marketing Electronic Materials, ultimately becoming the Head of Global Solar Cell Business. Sven earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, completing the program between 1990 and 2000.
