Joe Vassilatos has extensive experience in information technology and operations, currently serving as the Associate Director of Information Technology Operations at Rutgers University Athletics since February 2022. With a background in the IT Management role at Rutgers University Athletic Department since September 2014, Vassilatos also contributes as a Video Replay Technician for the Big Ten Conference, where responsibilities include performing as a Replay Technician for various sports and setting up video capture/playback systems. Additionally, Vassilatos has been a Remote Hands Data Center Technician at GuavaTech, Inc. since June 2012, focusing on data center maintenance. Joe's career began at Rutgers University in IT System Administration and as a Unit Computing Specialist, preceded by an Office Manager position at Cross County Clinical & Educational Services. Vassilatos holds a Master's degree in Business and Science from Rutgers University, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an Associate degree in Applied Science from Middlesex College.
