Siddhartha Biswas is a seasoned metallurgist with extensive experience in the field of materials engineering. Currently serving as a Plant Metallurgist at Big River Steel since June 2018, Siddhartha previously held the same position at INNOVATIVE CASTINGS TECH, INC., where significant contributions included investigating casting shrinkage and defect characterization in industrial processes. Siddhartha's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, supplemented by a Master of Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Research experience encompasses developing high-strength alloys for diesel engines, optimizing foundry practices, and enhancing energy efficiency in steel production.
