Debisree Ray, Ph.D., is a skilled data scientist currently employed at Big River Steel since October 2021. Previously, Debisree served as a volunteer in New Client Acquisition for Statistics Without Borders from November 2022 to August 2023 and worked as a Global Scholar/Data Analyst at PreScouter, Inc. for a brief period in 2019, where Debisree handled complex shipping data and performed data visualization using Python. At Mississippi State University, Debisree completed a postdoctoral associate role focusing on immersive virtual training environments and conducted research as a graduate research assistant in Covariant Density Functional Theory, alongside tutorship as a graduate teaching assistant.
