Maybelle Z. is an emerging professional in the technology sector, currently serving as a member of Rewriting the Code and as a mentee at StreetWise Partners since January 2022. Maybelle has accumulated diverse experience through various internships, including a Software Engineer Intern role at American Express, a Data Management Intern at KBRA, and a Fall Intern at the Social Science Research Council, where collaboration in developing a chatbot recommendation system was achieved. As a Youth Council Member, Scholar, and Mentee with Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC since 2017, Maybelle has engaged in mentorship and personal development. Maybelle is also a participant in the Technology Leadership Development Program at Baruch College and was recognized as a Break Through Tech - AI/ML Fellow at Cornell Tech from June 2023 to April 2024. Education includes degrees in Computer Science from CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies and Baruch College.
