Obai Al-Khabbaz has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Obai started their career in 2009 as a Site Engineer at MTN SYRIA. From there, they moved on to become a Network Management Centre Engineer and later a Core PS Engineer at the same company. In 2014, Obai joined du as a Network Operation Engineer before transitioning to Etisalat as an IP Core Engineer. Currently, they serve as the Head of Regional Operations (MEA) at BICS, where they previously worked as an Escalation Manager and a Specialist Service Engineer.

Obai Al-Khabbaz completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Damascus University from 2004 to 2009. Obai is currently pursuing a degree in Business Strategy and Financial Performance at INSEAD, which they are expected to complete by 2023. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Business Strategy and Financial Performance from INSEAD in April 2023.
