Carolyn Ng is a Partner and Managing Director at TPG, a position held since October 2021. In addition, Carolyn serves as a Board Member for Bicara Therapeutics and Mbrace Therapeutics, Inc. since their respective dates in December 2023 and April 2023. Previously, Carolyn was a Managing Director at Vertex Ventures HC from December 2014 to October 2021, focusing on life sciences investment. Carolyn's extensive board experience includes roles with companies such as ElevateBio, Epirium, Boundless Bio, Twentyeight-Seven Therapeutics, Obsidian Therapeutics, and NUVAIRA, Inc. Carolyn holds a PhD in Molecular Oncology from the National University of Singapore Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering and a First Class Honours B.Sc in Pharmacy from the National University of Singapore.
