Wouter van Balveren is an experienced professional in the fields of education, culture, and community engagement. Currently serving as an Intervisie begeleider at Universiteit Utrecht since September 2020, Wouter has also held multiple roles at Bibliotheek Gelderland Zuid, including Manager innovatie and Manager Educatie / Huis van de letters, overseeing library services across various municipalities. Additionally, Wouter has been the Voorzitter of Leergeld Nijmegen since April 2017, focusing on preventing social exclusion for children from low-income families. Wouter has a rich history in cultural initiatives, previously acting as Directeur at Grote Broer kunsteducatie, and has contributed to the arts and education sectors through various leadership and teaching positions, including at de Lindenberg and Circus Debuut. Wouter's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in education and arts from HAN University of Applied Sciences and further studies at Utrecht University.
