Humberto Ferreira is a skilled chemist with extensive experience in structural chemistry, currently serving as Principal Structural Chemist and Structural Chemistry Manager at BIAL since January 2005, where responsibilities include the characterization of new chemical entities (NCEs). Previously held positions at BIAL include Senior Analytical Chemist and Analytical Chemist, focusing on similar research activities. Humberto's academic background includes a Post Doctoral Research role at the University of Zurich, where the synthesis of new catalysts for metathesis was undertaken, and a PhD in Chemistry obtained from Instituto Superior Técnico.
