Syma Iqbal has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Oracle applications and financial systems. Syma most recently worked as the Director of Financial Systems at Bi-State Development since November 2018. Prior to that, they were an Oracle Applications Consultant at Nexgen Consulting LLC from July 2016 to October 2018. Syma also held the position of Manager - Oracle Solutions at Silgan Plastics from December 2014 to June 2016, where they managed the Oracle solutions team and handled various modules including financials, supply chain, manufacturing, and planning. Before that, they worked as a Program Manager - Oracle Financials at Kellwood Company from October 2009 to November 2014, where they led a team and provided support and implementation of Oracle Financials modules. Syma also worked as a Senior Consultant at EDS, an HP Company, from June 2006 to September 2009, and as an ERP Consultant at Bi-State Development Agency dba Metro from July 2003 to April 2006. Additionally, they have experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant at Ingersoll Rand from April 2002 to May 2003, and as an Oracle Financial Applications - Functional Specialist at New York City - Human Resource Administration from February 2001 to February 2002. Throughout their career, Syma Iqbal has been involved in various aspects of Oracle applications, including implementation, upgrades, support, training, and project management.

Syma Iqbal studied at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a degree in ACA with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications from Oracle, including Oracle Procurement Cloud 2016 Certified Implementation Specialist in January 2017, and Oracle Financials Cloud certifications in General Ledger, Payables, and Receivables in December 2016.
