Tim Lawton is an experienced geologist with a comprehensive background in hydrogeology and environmental science. Currently serving as Superintendent Stewardship and Approvals at BHP since March 2013, Tim Lawton previously held the position of Senior Water Analyst within the same company. Prior to joining BHP, Tim Lawton worked as a Senior Hydrogeologist and Hydrogeologist at BHP Billiton from March 2009 to March 2013, and held roles as Mine Geologist at Alliance Resources and Exploration Geologist at Regis Resources. Tim Lawton began their career as an Environmental Geologist at Coffey International Ltd. Tim Lawton holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from Deakin University.
