Joash Ang is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the dewatering sector and project engineering. Currently serving as a Dewatering Engineer at BHP since November 2020, Joash is responsible for capital planning, design management, and optimising the dewatering portfolio across WAIO, with a focus on reducing operational costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to BHP, Joash worked at Fortescue Metals Group as a Project Engineer and Design Engineer, delivering engineering input for various water projects and infrastructure upgrades. Joash began a career as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at GHD, providing mechanical design primarily for the water and resources industries, and had a short-term role at ATCO Gas Australia as a Project Engineer. An education background in Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Curtin University between 2013 and 2017.
