Georgia Manning is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management, planning, and approvals within the mining and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Water and Closure Planning at BHP since October 2017, Georgia has held numerous key positions within the company, including Superintendent Environment - Approvals North for Nickel West and Principal Environment Approvals. Prior to BHP, Georgia was a Principal Advisor at Kaeo Advisory and held various roles at Fluor Corporation and FAST JV, focusing on statutory planning and approvals. Earlier career highlights include managerial roles at CEMEX and Winstone Aggregates, beginning as a Quarry Supervisor in 1997. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from The University of Auckland and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University.
