Alison Nugent has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Manager Production Overburden at BHP since January 2016, with prior roles including Manager Mine Scheduling and Operations Planning Superintendent at Peak Downs Mine, where leadership was provided to a team of 18 engineers. Previous positions include Mining Engineer at New Hope Group and New Hope Coal, as well as Mining Consultant at RungePincockMinarco. Alison began their career with undergraduate engineering roles at Macarthur Coal, BMA, and New Hope Coal. Educationally, Alison holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from The University of Queensland, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
