Alejandro Tapia Godoy is an accomplished executive in the mining industry with extensive experience at BHP, where positions held include President of Escondida and Vice President of Planning & Technical. Notably, Alejandro has served as General Manager for Concentrate Operations at Minera Escondida Limitada and as Project Director for Integrated Operations, overseeing critical phases of project execution and transition to operations. Alejandro has also led the development of major capital projects as Head of Directional Studies for Minerals Americas, managing a portfolio exceeding US$10 billion. Prior roles include managerial positions at BHP Billiton Pampa Norte and Minera Spence S.A.
