Varun Raj Khanna is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Head of Indirect Tax at Bharti Airtel since December 2017, Varun is responsible for overseeing the indirect tax function and implementing tax strategies while leading group restructuring and M&A transactions. Previously, Varun held the position of Vice President of Finance at Micromax Informatics Ltd, managing financial statements, product pricing analysis, and taxation for multiple countries, along with overseeing M&A activities. Varun's earlier roles include Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Bilfinger Neostructo Pvt Ltd, Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at BMR Advisors Pvt Ltd, and Vice President of Enterprise Sales at General Electric. Varun's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
