Lydia Chin's work experience includes roles such as Head of Sales Operations at BFM 89.9 - The Business Station starting in 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Manager at Sun Media Corporation in 2011. Lydia also served as a Market Research Executive at Taylor Nelson Sofres Malaysia Sdn Bhd from 2010 to 2011.

Lydia Chin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Otago, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. In 2016, they also obtained an IPA Foundation Certificate from the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising).
