Jonathan Schorr is a seasoned communications and strategy professional with extensive experience in the education sector and nonprofit organizations. As the Founding Partner of Be Clear Communications since June 2018, Schorr contributes to progressive initiatives alongside former Obama Administration alumni. Additionally, Schorr serves as an Advisory Member for 100Kin10 and a Board Member for Yu Ming Charter School. Previous roles include Founder of Jonathan Schorr LLC, Communications Director and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Communications at the U.S. Department of Education, Partner and Chief of Staff at NewSchools Venture Fund, and Director of New Initiatives at the KIPP Foundation. Schorr began a career in journalism as a reporter for the Oakland Tribune and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Yale University.
