Chris Bonde has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering. Chris is currently employed at Beyond Air® as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Monroe Truck Equipment in the Municipal Snow & Ice division, where they were responsible for designing snowplows and underbody scrapers. From 2017 to 2021, Chris worked at Phoenix, LLC, a startup company specializing in developing custom capital equipment. Chris served as the lead mechanical engineer in the development of a custom Neutron generator used for the production of a medical nuclear imaging isotope. Before that, they worked at Standard Imaging, Inc. as a Senior Design Engineer, contributing to the low volume production and diverse product line of radiation quality assurance equipment. Chris started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern and Co-op at Appleton Coated LLC in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Overall, Chris Bonde has gained a wide range of experience in mechanical engineering, including product development, design, simulation, and manufacturing.
Chris Bonde received their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from UW-Platteville, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac from 1996 to 1997, where they pursued general studies. In addition to their formal education, Chris also obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Professional - Solid Modeling Specialist from SolidWorks Corp. in January 2008.
