Johan Sebastian Quiroga Torres has been working in the software engineering and data engineering fields since 2016. In that year, they began working as a Freelance Software Engineer, managing and developing databases using SQL-server, MySQL and MongoDB, custom software development, and web page development. In 2018, they began working as a Research Assistant at Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas, where they were responsible for statistical processing, data sources analysis, and database cleaning jobs for research projects. In 2020, they began working at MO Technologies as a Senior Data Engineer, building and deploying ETL's and Data pipelines with Python, designing and developing data, AI and ML architecture solutions, and developing and deploying data API's. That same year, they began working at Grupo Vanti as a Cloud BI & Data Analyst, developing and deploying ETL's and pipelines in distributed environments, governance and maintenance of Datalake and Data Warehouse, and data analysis and analytics. In 2021, they began working at Bevy as a Senior Data Engineer, where they were responsible for architectural design and start-up of platform and data solutions, building secure, scalable and automated batching and streaming Airflow data-pipelines, and creating and maintaining Terraform modules. Johan Sebastian also began working at Globant as a Senior Data Architect, building secure, scalable and automated Apache-Airflow pipelines, generating Python modules, and supporting data platform.

Johan Sebastian Quiroga Torres has a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, which they obtained in 2019. Johan Sebastian also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad ECCI, which they obtained in 2016.
