Fernando Madeira serves as the President of BetterHelp, the world's largest therapy service, since November 2023. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Madeira has advised and invested in startups across Latin America and the United States since 2006. Previously, Madeira was the President of ipsy from July 2018 to May 2022, where the focus was on empowering individual beauty expression. As President and CEO of Walmart.com from August 2012 to February 2017, Madeira led significant operations in the U.S. and Latin America eCommerce. Additionally, Madeira co-founded and served as CEO of Terra, the largest internet portal in Latin America, from May 1989 to June 2012, driving various innovations in the digital space. Educational background includes studies at Harvard Kennedy School, INSEAD, and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
