Stacie Freeman, M.S.S.W., is an accomplished leader in education and community engagement, currently serving as Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Global Citizen Adventure Corps since July 2022, focusing on global service-learning opportunities for underserved students. A Professor of Sociology at Bethel University of Tennessee since August 2005, Stacie has held various significant roles, including Director of Global Studies and Department Coordinator, where responsibilities encompass strategic leadership and academic support. Stacie is also the founder of the Community Engagement Scholarship Program and has crafted innovative educational experiences, such as a comprehensive online global citizenship course. Additionally, Stacie operates a contemporary studio as an Airbnb Owner and Superhost in Nashville. Stacie holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
