LaTanya Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations and roles. LaTanya started their career at JCPenney in 1995 and worked as a Manager for around 15 years. In 2010, they joined Goodwill Industries of Arkansas as a Job Coach until 2017. Following that, they became a Program Coordinator at Village Initiative from 2009 to 2010, where they recruited and trained mentors for youth. In 2013, they joined Youth Home, Inc. as a Mentor/Residential Treatment Counselor. Since 2017, they have been associated with Bethany Christian Services, where they have held various positions including Program Coordinator, Executive Branch Director, Manager of Family Advocacy, and currently serves as the Sr. Director of Business Development.
LaTanya Bennett holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Arkansas State University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, from 2011 to 2014. LaTanya also obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Social Work from Pulaski Technical College, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, LaTanya has obtained certifications in Motivational Interviewing, Structured Analysis Family Evaluation, and Mental Health Para Professional.
