Josie Levey is a dedicated scholar and advocate with extensive experience in education and mental health support. Currently serving as a Course Attached Tutor for Chemistry at Bates College and a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line, Josie also leads an online support group for the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders. As the founder and president of the Bates College American Sign Language Club, Josie promotes communication accessibility. Previously, as National Director of Education for The Yellow Tulip Project, Josie championed mental health discussions and suicide prevention initiatives on campus. Josie has also contributed to various research projects, including an internship at the University of Michigan Medical School's Department of Pharmacology and a fellowship with the American Physiological Society. Josie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Bates College and a High School Diploma from The American School in London.
