Jamie Rush, LMSW, is a dedicated psychotherapist currently employed at Betances Health Center since November 2022, with prior experience as a social worker in outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center from August 2021 to November 2022. Jamie began a career in social work through an internship at JASA, focusing on geriatric clients dealing with depression. As a co-founder of the NAMI Connection Support Group at Providence College, Jamie contributed to peer-led support for students living with mental illness. Additional experience includes client intake and case management at YouthBuild Providence and mentoring at the Lenihan School of Irish Dance. Jamie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Providence College.
