Vanessa D. is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the legal sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Legal at Best Buy since July 2024, Vanessa has also held positions such as Senior Counsel & Senior Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo and spent over a decade at Best Buy in various legal capacities. In addition to corporate legal work, Vanessa is the Owner and Wine Educator of Sips Ensemble LLC, a Minnesota-based wine education company. An experienced educator, Vanessa has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law, where a course focused on negotiation and advocacy was taught. Vanessa holds a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where distinction was achieved, and a B.A. from Wittenberg University in English and Political Science.
