Michael Scherg is the Director of Research at BESA. Michael has previously worked as an engineer and technologist for GE Power & Water, TUM, BMW, and Rodenstock. Scherg has a focus on the development of catalytic exhaust gas purification systems on stationary gas engines.
Dr. Michael Scherg received their diploma in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and went on to complete their Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry at the same school.
They are on a team with Robert Spangler - Research & Development Coordinator, Fabienne Anselstetter - Research & Project Engineer, and Nicole Ille - Research & Development Coordinator. Michael Scherg reports to Harald Bornfleth, VP, Research & PM.
