Marek Wallenfels is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Director of Education and the Next Generation at Bertelsmann Stiftung since September 2022. As a co-founder of buergerpolitik.org since September 2017, Marek has demonstrated a commitment to civic engagement. Previously, Marek held the position of Chief Executive Officer at EDUCATION Y from October 2019 to August 2022 and served as Managing Director at SolarFountain from April 2016 to June 2017. Marek's expertise further includes significant roles at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change and as Managing Director at 2° - German CEOs for Climate Protection.
