Dr. Jan Breitinger is a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead at the Bertelsmann Foundation, specializing in innovation policy and sustainability since December 2018. Responsibilities include leading a diverse team, advising high-level political entities, and building global stakeholder networks. Previous experience includes a role as a Business Strategy Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from June 2012 to July 2018, focusing on organizational and strategic development across multiple industries in Germany, Europe, and Africa. Dr. Breitinger holds a Ph.D. in History of Development Politics from The Philipp University of Marburg and a Master's degree in History and Political Economics from Heidelberg University, supplemented by studies at Lund University.
