Nathan T. James is a Statistical Scientist at Berry Consultants. In 2022, he earned his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Vanderbilt University where he also held an FDA ORISE Fellowship. His doctoral research focused on semi-parametric Bayesian regression using cumulative probability models and approximate Bayesian computation for population pharmacokinetic models using variational inference. Prior to his time at Vanderbilt, he completed a Masters in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University where he collaborated on solid organ transplantation research as a Research Associate in the Department of Surgery. He also has previous experience as a Data Analyst at the Pennsylvania Department of Health and as a Biostatistician at the Emmes Company.
