Maksudul Alim is an experienced transportation planner with a strong background in travel demand modeling. Currently serving as a Transportation Planner at BERNARD Gruppe since November 2021, Maksudul has developed four-step Travel Demand Models using PTV Visum and TransCAD, designed traffic and transit networks, conducted traffic impact analyses, and authored technical reports. Prior experience includes a role as a Transport Planner at Behörde für Verkehr und Mobilitätswende, overseeing model development and collaborating with government agencies. Maksudul's career began at BERNARD Gruppe in various roles including Transport Modeller and Mobility Planner, and internships focused on macroscopic transport modeling, data analysis, and traffic survey methodologies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Transportation Systems from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology in Bangladesh.
