Dana Pavisich is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching humanities and history. Currently serving as a Humanities Teacher at Berlin Metropolitan School since July 2020, Dana previously held positions at The American School Foundation of Guadalajara as an 8th Grade Civics and Model United Nations Teacher from June 2018 to October 2022, and at KIPP Ascend as a 7th Grade History and Science Teacher and Grade Level Lead Teacher from June 2014 to June 2017. Early in the teaching career, Dana taught 7th and 8th Grade History at Basil Middle School from June 2012 to June 2014. Dana's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Social Sciences with a focus on History from the University of Chicago, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Dominican University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/Television/Film and Comparative Literature from Northwestern University.
