Melanie D. Matthews-Calhoun is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Instructional Coach for Berkley Schools, where collaboration with Administrators, Teachers, and families is key to fostering student growth. As CEO and Senior Consultant of Literacy at Work, LLC since 2008, Melanie has been instrumental in providing professional development for educators across various school districts. With a strong background in instructional leadership, Melanie also co-founded AIM on Purpose, a self-development company. Previous roles include Curriculum Leader for K-12 Math Support at Detroit Public Schools Community District, where contributions to instructional improvement were significant, and District Literacy Coach for Cornerstone Education Group.
