Alison Hammerschmidt is an Electronics Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab since March 2023, specializing in electronic design, documentation, procurement, fabrication, installation instruction, and testing for the Advanced Light Source Upgrade project. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley from May 2020 to August 2022, and as Key Services at Opening Technologies, Inc. from April 2016 to October 2017. Additionally, Alison served as President of Meandal Electric Inc. from January 2007 to December 2016 and as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser at Haydock Appraisal Service from January 2000 to December 2014. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and two Associate of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, and Natural Sciences from Diablo Valley College.
