Bill Robinson is a seasoned professional with 32 years of experience in Information Technology and Business Process Engineering with a heavy concentration in IT Strategic Roadmaps and Vision including technical and organization change management. Mr. Robinson has spent half of his career working directly for Energy companies such as Kinder Morgan, Koch Industries, Williams Energy, and Enron. Mr. Robinson started as a SCADA programmer for a major natural gas pipeline, where he also performed the duties of gas controller, measurement technician, and pipeline maintenance technician. After advancing into various leadership roles, Mr. Robinson put his day to day operational experience to work with a large IT Consulting and Managed Service/Hosting firm. Mr. Robinson moved up quickly within the organization to become an Account Manager for a large interstate pipeline company, becoming the IT department for this client. Mr. Robinson became Division Vice President of the Gas Utility division, offering IT and reguatory consulting, along with software products focused on Gas/Power Management and Supply/Demand forecasting business processes.Mr. Robinson entered into the Energy Trading industry by taking on the responsibility of CIO for Koch Industries Gas and Power trading organization. Mr. Robinson continued consulting in the trading industry after joining up with Koch Ventures to start an Energy Trading Consulting company, while securing a corner stone client providing Managed Services and Hosting for the Trading and Pipeline organizations. Mr. Robinson continues to support and directs Energy Trading and Pipeline IT organizations by helping them define and articulate strategic roadmaps. These roadmaps are pragmatic and are based on his implementation and IT operations experience. Mr. Robinson continues to keep his operational experience sharp, by running complex projects for clients and works directly with CIO's to formulate executable strategies and implementations. Mr. Robinson is currently working with a client building and implementing the IT capability for a recent MLP. Mr. Robinson holds a BBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas.
