Ongun Karaca has extensive work experience in sales and management roles. Ongun is currently working as a Sales Director at BERICAP since July 2023. Previously, they worked as a Sales Manager at KOROZO GROUP from September 2021 to June 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at International Paper including Key Account Sales Manager from August 2019 to July 2021, Sales Manager - Çorlu Plant from April 2017 to July 2019, and Key Account Executive from October 2013 to March 2017. Ongun also worked as an Account Manager - Business Development, EMEA at Greif, Inc. from August 2011 to September 2013. Before that, they were employed as a Sales Administration Specialist, MEA at CNH Industrial from February 2010 to July 2011. Ongun began their career as an Export Sales Representative at Unsa Ambalaj in February 2009 and worked there until February 2010.

Ongun Karaca has a diverse education history. Ongun obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics and Management from Université Lumière Lyon 2 from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2006, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration at Istanbul Bilgi University. Ongun's education journey started in 1993, where they attended Özel Saint Benoît Fransız Lisesi / Lycée Français Saint Benoît, focusing on Mathematics for eight years.

In addition to their formal education, Ongun has also obtained several certifications. In 2012, they completed the Strategic Selling certification at Miller Heiman. Ongun also holds a certification in MS Office Applications from Bilge Adam, which they obtained in 2010. Ongun's interest in languages led him to complete a Basic Spanish Course at the Cervantes Institute in 2006. Finally, in 2005, they obtained a certification in Economics and Politics in the European Union from Istanbul Bilgi University.
