Reid Grunewald is a skilled Construction Project Engineer at Bergmann since April 2021, specializing in highway construction engineering, Maintenance of Traffic coordination, and bridge inspection, with particular expertise in HMA paving and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control. Prior experience includes a seasonal role in grounds maintenance with the City of East Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation and a Research Assistant position at Michigan Technological University, where research focused on BIM software for Michigan DOT and Life Cycle Assessment for the Federal Highway Administration. Reid also gained civil engineering experience as an intern at OcuGlass, LLC and worked as a bartender and server at Armando’s Restaurant and Douglass House Saloon.
