Oliver Gadsby is a prominent figure in the publishing industry, currently serving as President of the Independent Publishers Guild, which represents over 600 members in the independent publishing sector in the UK and Ireland. In addition to leadership at the Guild, Oliver holds multiple advisory board positions with organizations such as Perlego, Amnet Systems, Peter Lang International Academic Publishers, Berghahn Books Inc, and Muswell Press. Oliver has also contributed as Non-Executive Chair for both Zero Carbon Academy and World Textile Information Network (WTiN). Previously, Oliver founded Rowman & Littlefield International and held the roles of Chief Executive, President, and Director, establishing the company as a key player in academic publishing. Educationally, Oliver earned a BA in French and German from the University of Exeter.
