Diane Bendik currently serves as a 5th Grade EL Specialist at Bensenville Elementary School District 2, where the focus is on enhancing fifth grade students' academic language skills in ELA and Reading since August 2019. Previous experience includes teaching a bilingual kindergarten section at Chicago Public Schools, where a classroom of 26 students was managed, along with roles as a Math Tutor and Teaching Assistant for 2nd and 4th grades, and co-teaching 6th grade science and 7th grade language arts at Chicago Jesuit Academy. Diane also participated in clinical practice within a multiage classroom setting in Chicago Public Schools. Diane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an ESL endorsement from Dominican University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Differentiated Instruction at the University of St. Francis.
