Shane Sumlin has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Shane started their career in 1994 as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and worked there until 1998. From 1998 to 2008, they worked as a Financial Advisor at A.G. Edwards. In 2008, they joined Wachovia Securities, LLC as a Financial Advisor, and continued in that role until 2009. Shane then worked at Wells Fargo Advisors from 2009 to 2018, where they held the position of First Vice President - Investment Officer. Currently, they are Vice President - Investments at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., a position they have held since 2018.

Shane Sumlin received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University. Shane attended the university from 1988 to 1994.
