Sander Van Schepdael is an accomplished Production and Project Engineer with extensive experience in the food production industry. Currently serving as the Production & Project Engineer for BENEO since February 2020, Sander has successfully led cross-departmental teams in the launch of a major production facility and optimized operations using lean methodologies. Sander's recent role as Production & Plant Manager at Meatless BV involved overseeing a critical transformation phase, streamlining production, and implementing modern management practices. Prior experience includes an International Trainee position at Südzucker Group, where Sander worked on diverse engineering projects across Europe, and a Team Leader role at Puratos, managing day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Sander holds a Master's degree in Bio-engineering from KU Leuven, completed in 2017.
