Michael Grass is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and chemical research fields, currently serving as the Head of Innovation at Bend Bioscience and as Senior Director of Product Innovation at CoreRx, Inc. Since 2011, Michael Grass has held various roles at Lonza, including Head of Solid Form Services and Principal Scientist, focusing on research and development of pharmaceutical formulations. Michael Grass also worked at Bend Research Inc as a Senior Research Chemist, managing projects in drug delivery applications. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Advanced Light Source and research roles at the University of California, where synthesis and characterization of catalysts were primary responsibilities. Michael Grass holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Chemistry from Pomona College.
