Benjamin Tillotson has worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin since 2006. In 2013, they began working at L-3 Integrated Optical Systems in the same role. In 2019, they changed roles to become a Thermal Engineer at L3Harris Technologies. Currently, they are the Lead Analysis Engineer at Benchmark Space Systems, a position they have held since 2022.

Benjamin Tillotson received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in 2003. Benjamin then went on to receive their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2005.
