Shivam Patel is an incoming startup intern at Loeb.nyc and a venture growth scout at bulletpitch, both positions held since 2023. Currently serving as the Director of Recruiting and a Consultant at UConn Consulting Group, Shivam is engaged in pro-bono consulting efforts that benefit local businesses. As a podcast host and venture associate at Hillside Ventures, a student-run venture capital fund, Shivam conducts due-diligence research on early-stage startups while focusing on insurtech, edtech, and sustainability sectors. Additionally, as a Werth Innovator at the UConn Werth Institute, Shivam developed a mentorship platform and gained valuable experience at Skaled Consulting. Earlier experience includes a crew member role at Chipotle Mexican Grill and participation in a competitive business program at Mercy College. Shivam is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Connecticut, expected to graduate in May 2025.
