Paul Ammann is an experienced software engineer currently working at Amazon, focusing on building AI agents within AGI Autonomy since 2024. Prior to Amazon, Paul contributed to Adept in the same role before its acquisition by Amazon. Paul has an extensive background with various companies, including Benchling and Autodesk, where significant projects included designing scalable backend systems and implementing performance upgrades. Earlier in Paul’s career, a role as a Full Stack Engineer at Dealpath involved the development of a commercial real estate management platform, while experience at Ascend Fitness and Latch encompassed mobile and web application development. Paul co-founded Latch to innovate within the construction industry and has also led projects that garnered notable fundraising attention at LearnShark. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and dual degrees in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Virginia.
