Madhava Carrillo Cervera has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2002 as a Desarrollador at Gama SD. In 2005 they began working as a self-employed IT and Web Services freelancer. In 2008, they joined Beabloo as the first developer and was appointed Head of Development and Scrum Master in 2010. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Scrum Master and Senior Java Software Engineer at Hotel Ninjas, which was acquired by booking.com. Madhava then worked as a Software Engineer II at Expedia, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Big Data Engineer at Casumo. In 2021, they became a Senior Data Engineer at Glovo, and in 2022 they took on the same role at both Belvo and Qogita.

Madhava Carrillo Cervera has an extensive education history. In 2002 and 2003, they attended IES Cristófol Ferrer and Joan Pelegri respectively, where they obtained a CFGS in Sistemes de Telecomunicación i Informática. From 2004 to 2010, they attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they obtained an Ingeniero Superior in Telecomunicaciones. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance. In 2013, they attended IE Business School, where they obtained a Global Engineering Leadership Program from IE Business School, UC Berkeley, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Madhava also attended Yoga Alliance - Yoga Bindu, where they obtained an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher in Yoga. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained a degree in Sanskrit and Classical Indian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.
