Antonio Venegas currently serves as the Director of Athletics Communications at Belmont Abbey College since November 2022. Additionally, Antonio has contributed as part of the Communications Game Day Staff for both Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers, assisting with postgame press conferences and public relations duties. Prior experience includes roles as a Sports Writer for Odessa American and Assistant Sports Editor for Herald Democrat. Antonio's background also features significant involvement in Toastmasters International, rising to the position of Vice President of Public Relations. Further media experience includes serving as an Assistant Editor for TexasHSfootball.com and a Play-by-Play Broadcaster for UTEP Softball. Antonio holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Industry and Latin American Studies from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Arizona State University.
