Michael Napthali is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the arts, entertainment, and legal sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Silent Firework and as a Board Member at Bell Shakespeare, Michael has also held the position of Director of Business Affairs at Eddie Wong Films since April 2016. Previous roles include Artistic Director for the Australian Government during the UKAustralia Season from July 2018 to June 2023, and Senior Policy Adviser to the Australian Prime Minister from October 2013 to April 2016. Michael's career began in artist management and marketing with Sony Music Entertainment and Grant Thomas Management, before transitioning into legal counsel at Showtime Networks Inc. A graduate of the University of Technology Sydney with a Master of Law, Michael has also received education from Harvard University and Macquarie University. Michael is recognized for championing women in the screen industry and advising on critical educational and cultural policies.
